I was disappointed in the scale.
It needs to be stored flat, so I can’t store it sideways in the cabinet as I intended.
The LCD screen is blocked by the bowl, and at an angle that makes it difficult to read.
It does weigh in oz’s, but not in lb’s and oz’s. Therefore, any item weighing more than 1 lb requires you to do the math.
In order to return the item I would not be reimbursed for the orgininal shipping and I would have to pay to have it shipped to them. In other words costing nearly the cost of the scale itself.

This is a great scale for someone that doesn’t want a complicated scale or want to pay a lot of money for a scale. It is extremely easy to use and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I bought it because the price was right and it worked perfectly for my needs. If you plan to weigh a lot of food, it may not be the best choice, but for someone that needs to weigh small portions like me, it worked out great.

This scale is perfect for what I needed! I’m trying to count calories and watch how much I eat. Before I got this scale, I was having to approximate everything. I’ve had this scale for about a month now, and its taken the guess work out of preparing meals. I measure everything! It will measure in grams and ounces. It helps me to control my portions and figure out exactly how many calories (or as close as possible) that I’m eating. I measure meat, potatoes, vegetables, pasta, fries, chips, even dry cereal.
Its not anything super fancy, but it does what it needs to. I really like the plastic bowl that comes with it. It allows for very easy clean up. It does have to be stored flat (not sideways), but thats not a problem for me. I use it so often, that it stays on my countertop.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially anyone trying to count calories, or watch their portions.

It’s a digital food scale that does exactly what you might think it does: weigh food. It’s easy to flip the bowl upside down and stash the entire unit out of sight (like on top of a microwave/underneath a cabinet).
The only downside is the auto-tare feature, which resets the scale to zero after a certain amount of time. This makes it difficult to weigh out small items like peanuts unless you drop them in all at once.
All in all: a totally adequate scale. Great price.
