I bought this pillow intending to use it as follows:
I would use a regular pillow under my head. I would hug the top part of the pillow, the mid section would support my knees and the end would wrap around and support my back.
I think this plan would have worked had I been much shorter than 5’8″. There is no hugging the top of the pillow. It barely reaches my chest, so I just had to rest my arm on it. I finally went back to using a regular pillow to hug and a small pillow in between my knees. Later on in my pregnancy (mid-2nd trimester) I will use the body pillow I used during my first pregnancy – also by Leachco (the Back ‘n Belly Pillow). It’s a bit too big to use during the 1st trimester.
What’s happened to my Mini Compact Side Sleeper? I let my 5 year old sleep with it. It fits his body much better than it fits mine

I had been having severe hip/leg pain with this pregnancy, so I was looking for something to help alleviate the morning pain. This pillow is the perfect size, doesn’t take up the whole bed, so I can still find my husband!

I purchased the snoogle mini when I was approximatley 20 weeks at the urging of my OB. I am a back sleeper, the kind that throws her arms over her head and looks completely ridiculous but fall into such a deep sleep. The first night I used the snoogle mini I fell into such a deep, lovely sleep, reminiscent of my old sleeps. However, since then, I do still find myself waking up in the middle of the night on my back, turning myself over and just praying that my cardiac output is sufficient for the baby, my kidneys, etc… I’m petite at 5’0, this must be the right size but I’ve had moments when it feels too small! I’ve slept with it both in front of my chest and i”m hugging it and then with the bulk of the support around back to prevent me from rolling over. I found it most comfortable around front/hugging it but then I do wake up more frequently on my back. Overall, its much better than taking your regular pillows and placing them between your legs and back but it’s not a miracle worker. My body just keeps pulling me back to the supine position, next purchase a straight jacket! Just kidding. Also, I’m 28 weeks so have been using this for 8 weeks now.

As much as I wanted to like this pillow, I didn’t. The fabric isn’t very breathable and it sits only between your thighs, which may be fine for some, but I am preferring my whole pillow length-wise to keep my entire leg in alignment. The curve in the pillow is too short would be greatly improved if it were longer. I’m 5’4 (and plus-sized) and it was simply too short. It sure is cute and I liked the fact I didn’t have to use it as my neck and head pillow if I didn’t want to, but I will stick with using four of my regular pillows for now.

I purchased this for my pregancy and found it a total waste of money because it was so uncomfortable. After my baby came I cut it down to make a spare boppy. Save your money
