(I adjusted it so it is long enough on the side you see as you walk into the bedroom - we just won't let anyone walk around to see the other side of the bed ...) The underside of the comforter is beige and the edge of the beige shows. I was also expecting the "suede" to be softer. I thought about sending it back, but I wasn't sure it was worth the hassle - and I did get it on sale. The overall look is okay and I will use it until I find something I like better.
